Let us examine first the news and then some historical facts to help the Ministry of Foreign Affair

The less our anger aroused article-reportage published in the Greek version of "Voice of Russia" in a highly misleading title "Treasures of Thrace talking about ancient Greece", siavi and the least at this point is questioning the Greekness of Thracian culture ...
We use the excellent pictures of the publication, which has drawn Alexandra Sopova as themselves reveal much ... The article is located at http://rbth.gr/arts/2013/10/16/oi_thisayroi_ti_thraki_miloyn_gia_tin_arxaia_ellada_25723.html).
Without wishing in any way to "scrape" historical wounds and realizing fully that the publication siavi will be a strange weapon in the hands of intelligent Russian diplomacy that will build towards Bulgarians and beyond, we can state that the issue is not simple and Foreign Ministry should not sit with crossed hands. siavi
Bear in mind that Bulgaria historically sought - self explanatory - to find an outlet to the Aegean maximizing its geopolitical and geostrategic value. Not that you seek to do today, but let's not delude ourselves that the outrage over non-implementation of their strategic plans involving our country, the Russians would not have the slightest hesitation to "sow weeds" in two member countries NATO and the EU ... Old tricks.
Let us examine first the news and then some historical facts to help the Ministry of Foreign Affairs siavi and Evangelos Venizelos, to properly assess the situation and move on time.
On September 30 inaugurated at the State Historical Museum in Moscow, the exhibition "Thracian gold from Bulgaria. Legend revives. " The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and Bulgaria. The exhibits do not date from the 8th to the 4th cent. B.C. So far so good, I say. But the problems below, as Bulgarians, and Russians archaeologists clearly distinguish the Thracians siavi from the Greeks, giving as another people without alphabet and writing, influenced by the Scythians.
"Often our Greek colleagues disagree. And this why we say that the treasures are evidence of Thracian culture on the identity, while the objects they contain will be Greek. Yes, it is Greek, but are found in Thrace and Scythia, while not track similar to Greece, "says Dr. Ivan Marazof, a member of the Foundation "Thrace" associate private museum "Vasily Bozkof" professor of the New Bulgarian University.
They allow us the respected professor to expose some comments. The Thracians are mentioned, for the first time in history, in writing, by Homer (Iliad). Some allies of the Trojans were Thracians as Peonians. Thracians were Kikones with whom fought Odysseus. Embers were Orpheus, the legendary musician and hero, who took part in the Argonauts alongside other Panhellenes his comrades. And the founder of them, the Thracian, the son of the god Mars, according to the Greek and Thracian mythology.
For the ancient Greeks was not always clear separation of northern and southern Thracian tribes. The northern, the Getae and Dacians, who lived on the banks of the Danube and north of this, in fact, had nothing to do with Greek culture. Early came in contact with the Scythians, the Celts and other invaders. The southern Thracians but who lived in the Rhodope Mountains and the Balkan, but also those who lived in today's siavi western and eastern Thrace, were acquainted with Greek culture since the Mycenaean era.
These contacts culminated during the First Colonization by establishing dozens of Greek cities, mainly over the coastal areas of the Thracians. Agrianes and Odrysian was Greek origin, ancestors of today Pomaks. The Bithynia, who moved to Asia Minor and statehood there (with King, Nicomedes, founder of Nicomedia and Bursa Bursa founder), the Mysians siavi and Phrygians, the famous King Midas was also at least Hellenized Thracians as early as the 8th century BC
The ancient Greeks considered barbarians, it contends anyone because of their non-urban lifestyle. The same saying but for Macedonians without today there no sane to doubt the Greek origin. Still the same say the Achaeans for the Dorians, despite the undeniable fact that the different people involved were not Greeks. Besides Peonians were actually founded cities. Their capital was indeed the Amydon, mentioned by Homer & #
