Samsung Galaxy S II is the first true rival iPhone 4 terminal, actually said that rival's little in terms of hardware is over terminal to Apple. The folks at GSMArena have done several tests to determine the battery life of the new smartphone launched recently by Samsung and in what follows I will detail their findings. They did a series of tests but most importantly from my point of view is mixed text, ie a test that used the terminal for various tasks to see how much you battery. Here's what they used and how they kept the battery:

Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3 inch screen which is responsible for almost half of the power consumption, has a dual-core chip and a battery of 1650 mAh, 250 mAh more than the iPhone. Autonomy in daily use seems a bit weak compared to the iPhone 4 which hold as much or maybe more if you do not use Push Notifications. In tests web browsing Samsung Galaxy S II only lasted 4:00 but regardless of the browser used iPhone 4 lasts up to 7 hours of constant browsing, according to tests done all of GSMArena. Regarding video playback, Samsung Galaxy S II reaches 8 hours of battery life, long enough that you forget a few episodes of your favorites.
