In the last 10 years (2003-2013), except Spain, the other major developed economies fell as their participation in world exports of goods. In general, for several years and win share in emerging countries and instead lose participation developed countries (except Spain).
Countries like China, India, Turkey, Pakistan, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico gain share in world exports of goods because they have lower labor costs and, therefore, their products are very competitive in international markets.
